- About Us
The North Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization founded in memory of Greg North who passed away in April of 2020. Greg’s wife Dana recognized the huge impact having the support of family, friends and community had on her family and wanted to ensure that families in a similar situation never felt alone.
The North Foundation assists Summit and Medina County families who have loved ones with any type of blood cancer currently undergoing in-patient treatment at a hospital. Our hope is to provide relief to these families during this stressful time. In addition to supporting families in need, The North Foundation also funds several scholarships for high school students pursuing technical careers. Mentoring youth and helping them see the value in working in a trade such as automotive, electrician, carpentry, plumbing, nursing, etc. was a passion of Greg’s. These scholarships are a way to continue Greg’s legacy.
The North Foundation is organized and operated by a passionate, volunteer Board of Directors.
